The Florentine Chianti - Full Day
- from 9.15 am to 4.30 pm
- price: 95,00 € per person
- lunch included
A nice stroll that will take us on the Chianti hills among vineyards, olive groves and old farmers' towns just outside of Florence. We are going to have lunch at a private farm and visit its cellars, tasting olive oil and locally made wine.
We depart from the medieval town of San Casciano, just outside of Florence. Walking along paths and country roads among Chianti Classico's olive groves and vineyards, we descend towards the confluence between two creeks, where we are going to relax in the shade of a majestic sequoia tree.
Along the route, your guide will describe the traditional production processes for olive oil and wine making, and will help you appreciate the environments that are typical of the Florentine countryside: olive groves, vineyards, villas and towns.
We'll have the farm's ancient kitchen completely to ourselves, where we will be served a tasteful lunch, including olive oil and Chianti wine tastings. We will then visit the medieval cellars and the modern ones.
